Privacy Policy — Vendor Khata

Vendor Khata ("the App") is a billing and ledger (khata) app for small shop owners. This page explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: the email address you use to sign in.
• Shop data: your shop name, items/inventory you add, and bills/customer names you create in the App.
• Payment information: if you upgrade to Premium, payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles that directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To sync your billing and inventory data across your devices.
• To identify your account and keep your shop's data private to you.
• To provide Premium features after a successful payment.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Only you can access your own shop's data — it is protected by account-based access rules and is not visible to other users of the App or to us for any purpose other than providing the service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data or your customers' names/billing information with third parties, except:

• Razorpay, solely to process Premium subscription payments.
• Google Firebase, which hosts our database and authentication infrastructure.

5. Your Customers' Data

Customer names and bill amounts you enter in the App are stored under your account only, for the purpose of maintaining your udhar/khata records. This data is visible only to you.

6. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at Manjushagundavarapu1222@gmail.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable time.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is intended for business/commercial use by adults and is not directed at children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
